Today my classmates and I went to the Nursing Home to interview some elderly people. I have never been there before. So before the trip to Nursing Home, I thought that place must be full of aged people who cannot speak fluently. There was one problem I worried about was that I couldn't understand what they were talking about. I mean, they do speak Chinese, but they might speak something that I don't understand or never heard about. So I most wanted to know about my partner was that whether he or she could speak 'Chinese'. I admitted that I was nervous.

  Friends are important, especially in our social life. There is an old saying that depend on parents at home, rely on friends outside. You cannot stay home for a long time, right? So if you don't have a friend, or few friends, make a new one!

  I knew what feels when I don't have a friend, because when I was in the kindergarten, I didn't have a single friend. I didn't know how to communicate with them. I just played my own toys. I was very lonely at that time, until I met my classmate in the kindergarten in priamry school. With him, I started to know how to make friends with others and how to communicate with them. Now I had a lot of friends besides my classmates. I even have one from Saudi Arabia......

  We need friends. Some friends will be with you for a life time. They can share your happiness and sadness. When you are lonely, friends will also be with you; when you need help, friends will do their best to help you; when you are happy, friends will share your happiness...... All in all, friends are important. Make a new friend if you only have few friends!

  You need to find out what he likes or dislikes. You can't just rush to the street and make friend with strangers you don't even know. You also need courage to make friend with him. If you ask at a right time, he will unlikely say 'no'. If he wants to make friend with you, refuse him ONLY if he is not sincere.

  Make a new friend is good for you. Friends are helpful. If you gave your whole heart to him, he will likely do the same to you. Friend is a person you can trust. Make a new friend!

  When you are under pressure, how can you vent yourself? When you are angry, how can you control your emotion? Try to go for a long walk, you will soon be fine.

  Go for a long walk can relax yourself. I don't know why, but I experience it by myself. When I was visiting Ningbo, I went to Xuedou mountain. It was different from others. Many temples and historic place are in there. When I started to go for a long walk there, I found out that this mountain was like a huge forest. Flowers, animals, trees...... I felt the beauty of nature. I walked for a long time, and the initial anxious from the hot weather were completely gone. Even you are walking on a noisy street, you don't have to hear the noise. Just walk. You will vent yourself by walking.

  Go for a long walk can also help you think. A long walk can relax your brian. If you focus on one thing for a long time, and you still haven't figured it out yet, your brian gets tired. As your brian gets tired, you will unlikely solve this thing. While you are having a long walk, it gave your brain a rest. When you come back and continue working on it, I believe you will work it out in no time.

  So go for a long walk! It is good for your health and your mind. I am sure you will enjoy it.

  In our social life, we need communication. But sometimes we meet someone laugh at us. It will only start a war. So we should learn to respect others.

  Why is respecting others so important? Let me tell you a story. Recently, there was a piece of news. It said that in a competition our Chinese special forces was laughed at by a foreign forces coach. He said our capability was just as theirs of 15 years ago! This was low respect and a little humiliation. After this competition, our special forces started to train themselves much harder than before. In the next competition, we got a big improvement and successfully "revenged".

  The story tells us that laughing at people will only make yourselves more awkward when they beat you. So respecting people was really important. If we show others respect, they will respect us. Therefore, we can make more friends, but not more enemies. 

  Another story. A New York business man was walking on the street. He saw a poor pencil salesman. He took pity on him, so he gave him one dolllar. After a while, he came back, took a few pecils,  apologized and said: " You and I are both business man, and you got something to sell."  After a few month, that salesman became very successful. He met that business man again. He thanked him and said: "You gave me respect again. You made me realize I was a salesman."

  This story also tells us that respect can make people feel hopeful. Respect someone, also means help someone, and give him hope. So don't laugh at others. Let's respect others!

  A couple of days ago, I invited my friend to come with my parents and I to visit Ningbo. We had a very good time there. There is a place I really liked: Xue Dou mountain.

  My mum rent a car and drove us to the bottom of the mountain. Then, we took a bus to a station and began to climb the mountain. Around us was a large area of woods. Trees were huge, and the air was fresh. I saw many blue-tail geckos lying on a rock. Some butterflies flew around us......  After ten minutes, we arrived at the top of a waterfall. The view was very beautiful. Big mountains came into my sight. There were hundreds, maybe thousands of them. Anyway, I felt the beauty of nature.

  Then we went to a small river. Lots of fish were swimming freely in there. My mum gave me a little bag and taught me to catch them. She sat down, put the bag in the water and waited. Soon a small fish came into this bag. I took her way, and caught a lot. I must admitt that this was fun...... We even put out feet into the water. The fish would come and swim around us. It seemed they were playing with us...... 

  Ningbo is a wonderful place. It didn't have the noise like Shanghai. I felt the quiet of the nature. Looking forward to another visit to Ningbo.

  I am a student of Xiehe school. When I was in Grade 9, my teachers , classmates and I was removed to another Xiehe in Wanyuan. Although the environment there is better, lots of memories in the old Xiehe make it a really important place to me.

  I have studied in the old Xiehe for eight years, so that means I was there since Grade 1. I still remember a lot of things happened in primary school and middle school. When I first came to Xiehe, everything is fresh to me. At that time I was curious to everything. People there were unfamiliar to me. So I was also afraid and don't know how to do. A teacher, who was very kind, helped me and showed me the way to my classroom. Then my life in primary school began. In Xiehe I met my classmates. This was a place where I started to communicate to people. My classmates were not only my classmates but also my friends. My best friend is Jack. He was my classmate since Grade 1 to Grade 5. I am lucky to have a friend like him. So the old Xiehe really means a lot to me.

  In middle school, I made more friends, and life was great. My new classmates were kind and friendly. In the class, we laughed a lot. That made the class more interesting. Outside the class, we had sports in the playground. My school gave me joy and happiness.

  My old school, is a really important place to me. I missed everything in that old school.

  It was common to gathering with classmates. How about classmates of primary school?

  A couple of days ago, my primary school teacher sent us a message about gathering of classmates. Finally we decided to have dinner together in a restaurant. The restaurant was near fron my home, so I went there so early that I could get seats for 10 people.

  My teacher first arrived. After one hour, my classmates arrived. It was very disappointed that only 6 people came to gethering. But that was OK. This gethering was not only for being together, but also for greeting one of my classmates came back from Germany. When we were all arrived, we began to recall something interesting during five-year primary school. There was one thing that I remembered clearly. It was on a math lesson. One of my classmates was called to stand up and answered the question. She had no idea how to answer it. A boy sat behind her told her the answer so loudly that the teacher could heard him clearly. And she repeated it at once. After about 3 seconds, the class burst into laughter. She didn't know why until the teacher told her the correct answer. Then she realized that the boy was playing a prank......

  We had a great time. As the time goes, we grow up more and more quickly, and teachers become older and older. How many times will we have such a gathering? I think we should treasure our time of being with classmates. Aft

  Yesterday I saw a movie called Pacific Rim. I couldn't but agree that this movie is fantastic. The movie told us that under the Pacific Ocean, there was an entrance of an unknown world that belonged to huge monsters. They came to our world through the entrance from time to time. Tanks, fighters, guns were useless. For fighting against them, we made a military plan: Jaeger, and created our own monsters. They were like mechanical giants. Two pilots controlled the giants. They were linked by memories. In the other word, they went inside their heads. At first, we won all the battles. As the monsters began to evolve, we began to lose. Lots of excellent pilots died. Finally, one of the giants called Gipsy Danger went to the entrance and entered monsters' world. They use bombs to blow up their world.

  The movie was full of action. It showed us high-tech product. But in my opinion, the movie also showed us the glory of humanity. 


  For example, at the beginning, the main character who is a pilot, lost his brother while they were fighting against the monster. However, in order to go back to the base and to complete the mission, with injuries he controlled the giant by himself and went back. You know, if only one pilot control a giant, he would probably be dead. He risked his life to give the giant back to the base. This showed his responsibility.


  Another example. When two giants were on their way to blow the monsters' world, they met three monsters. One of them was the strongest than ever! They never met this kind of monsters. One giant was badly injured. It lost an arm and a leg. In order to complete the mission and save the human beings, the other chose to blow up itself to kill these three monsters. They succeed in the end. I am inpressed. That two pilots had courage to sacrifice themselves, for protecting their companion and let them finish the job. It was moving. 

  All in all, the movie was great. It showed us the glory of humanity. This is the best movie I have ever seen.
